Best Xbox One Games 2013

So the long wait is over. The Xbox One has now well and truly arrived and things are starting to take shape on the console gaming stage. Let’s take a look at some of the top titles so far that are setting the box a light.

1. NBA 2K14
The stand out title at present for displaying next-gen graphical capabilities of the console. If you were to see clips from the MyCAREER mode and didn’t know any better you could be forgiven for thinking that you were watching live NBA action! The visuals really do need to be seen to be believed. The game has undergone a full overhaul from the tweaked gameplay engine to the modifications and enhancements of the familiar gameplay modes – and then of course there is the graphics. Concerns have been raised about the current reliability of 2Ks servers for online play but the game itself is a joy to play and looks stunning. You should love this even if you don’t love the NBA.

 2. Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag
The Assassin’s Creed series gets back on track (If you could say it ever really went off track) with this awe inspiringinstalment. The heavy, boggy story driven Assassin’s Creed III has been trumped with amazing game play (harking back to the earlier AC games) and pirates! That’s not to say this game doesn’t have a storyline, just that the developers have but gameplay and enjoyment to the fore in this vast and expansive instalment. Further to this, on the Xbox One this game is a visual masterpiece and taking to the ocean will feel new and exciting even to die hard AC fans.

 3. Lego Marvel Super Heroes
One for the kids but also one for the whole family. We can’t praise this game highly enough for its fun and lasting gameplay, its bold fun and vibrant visuals and its all-round versatility. It stays true to its Marvel ethic and not even hard-core Marvel fans can be disappointed with this title. It has very few downsides at all with the exception of a few predictable puzzles; the game is aimed at kids however! It’s a stand out title for the Lego gaming series and well worth the money.

4.Madden NFL 25
The game has improved tremendously in all departments from its previous instalment, the graphics are now top notch and there is improved visual detail everywhere, not just on the pitch. The game now has a proper footballing brain, plays and tactics are important and you are rewarded as such, this is not a game for button mashers! It’s a challenging and rewarding Madden experiencethat’s sure to please most football fans.

 5. Rocksmith 2014 Edition
The game has yet to receive its next-gen makeover and make its debut on the Xbox One. When it arrives expect the same great controller combined with the stunning visual quality that the Xbox One can provide.

Back when gaming was starting to get popular there were incentives to get people to buy the game.
